Here is the City of Sacramento's City Manager Proposed Fiscal Year 2011 - 2012 Budget. The City Council will spend the next six weeks reviewing the proposed cuts and will take action prior to June 30, 2011.
Unlike the State Legislature, almost every City and County in California deliver their budgets on time, every single year. They have to re-meet and go through the budget again once the legislature faces reality and delivers a state budget. Counties and Cities have to go through their budget a second time to face the realities of what the state finally decided to do.
