Congratulations! We are almost complete and ready for graduation or getting one step closer to graduation.

You will write a 2 – 3 page analysis on an issue that is before a County Board of Supervisors, City Council, School board or other special district (fire district, water district, municipal utility district, reclamation district, etc.).

In this analysis please include the name of the governmental entity and the meeting date you went to or the meeting you viewed on-line or on public access television.

Your analysis will be double-spaced and must include the following:

  1. Your name and e-mail address (in case I have questions during recess while I am reading).

  1. The Date you are submitting your analysis

  1. The name of the entity, meeting date and the title of the item you are analyzing (i.e. Sacramento City Council, April 24, 2008 - Revision of Subdivision Map, Parcels 109876-9 and 119870-2). If you viewed this meeting on line, what is the link to the meeting you watched?

  1. If this is City or County is it a Charter or General Law entity?  If you are writing about a city - is it a contract city or a full service city?

  1. How many elected members serve the local government entity you are covering?

  1. Are they elected in districts or at-large?

  1. What Item did they discuss? What was the outcome?

  1. Your observations and thoughts about the meeting you observed are important and will by the conclusion of this analysis.

You may write about another subject, however - please see me to ensure I approve of it BEFORE YOU BEGIN.
