Sacramento Regional Transit District (RT) is holding a public hearing for the Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP):
May 23, 2011 at 6 pm
Sacramento Regional Transit Auditorium
1400 – 29th Street (corner of 29th & N Streets)
Sacramento, CA
The SRTP was last amended in 2009. This updated plan covers fiscal years 2011 through 2021. It contains an overview of RT and its rail and bus services including ADA Complementary Paratransit service. The plan is based on a funding outlook reflecting current economic conditions. The Ten Year Capital Program is a subset of the Capital Improvement Program adopted by the Board of Directors at the February 28, 2011 meeting. The document does not reflect the potential changes that may be made to bus service due to the Comprehensive Operational Analysis currently underway.
The 30-day public review period ends on May 23, 2011. Copies of the plan are available at: RT Main Office 1400 29th St, Sacramento, CA, the Sacramento Central Library 828 I St, Sacramento, CA, and on RT’s Web site at http://www.sacrt.com/. Interested parties are encouraged to submit written comments on the plan or to comment at the public hearing. Written comments should be sent to Sacramento Regional Transit District Planning Department PO Box 2110, Sacramento, CA 95812-2110, attn: Traci Canfield.
