A glimpse of the policies, people, and politics of California state government, from John Myers of The California Report
Podcast: Breaking Our Silence
Like the legendary Phoenix rising from the ashes, or else the annoying in-law who just won't take a hint, our weekly political chat is back.
Back from our longer-than-expected hiatus, this week's Capital Notes Podcast digs through the rubble of the bills signed into law or vetoed by Governor Jerry Brown.
Anthony York of the Los Angeles Times and I examine a few bills of note, some of the themes of Brown's decisions, and what they might mean for budget and electoral happenings in 2012.
And yes, thanks for your many emails encouraging us to head back into the studio. While this week's podcast is out on a Tuesday, we'll be back to Friday episodes starting next week.
