California's San Francisco Bay Delta Report on Ecosystem Protection

In California, the San Francisco Bay Delta is a huge ecosystem providing water for fish and terrestrial species, as well as needed water for Central Valley agriculture and Southern California Cities.  The Bay Delta is also impacted by upstream users - cities and agriculture along the rivers feeding the Delta.

The Delta Vision Foundation (formerly Governor's Delta Vision Blue Ribbon Task Force), has released its second annual "Delta Vision Report Card," gives "mostly above average marks for effort" to state and federal government and non-governmental agencies toward "co-equal goals" of restoring Delta ecosystem and ensuring reliable water supply for California.
